This is a tulip stained glass I made as a xmas gift for my mother.
Tulips are my mother's fav flowers and after she saw my vitrail Cacahouette
, she wanted one for their staircase as well!
The white pieces of glass were a pain to cut, really. The glass is thicker than the red and green ones, and for some pieces it almost exploded each time I wanted to cut it, instead of just detach. Lots of little pieces were been thrown all over the place >_<
And finally, when I started to assemble everything with the lead, the tulip's stem broke!!!!!!!!!
I was mad at that moment
As it was the end of the lesson, I had a whole week to calm down and cut once more the green piece the next saturday.
Fortunately, all went well after this. No more broken piece
Assembling was also a bit hard for the middle part because some pieces were to be put without any real support.
I'm very glad of the result. The use of differents blurry transparent pieces make it look nice, I think Time spent: 13hPHOTO UPDATED: my father put it on their window It's all finished now.
